The historic part of the city
The city is well looked after, and it's also clearly one of the cleanest cities in Spain. In Marbella you will also find the old town, where the charming Plaza de los Naranjos is located.
The square dates to 1485 and is filled with orange trees that give off a fantastic scent. Around the square are many cosy cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy authentic Spanish food.
In the old town there is a lot of culture and history that fascinates even those who are not interested in it.
Nearby the old town is also the Parque la Alameda, which is a small, enchanting park with tropical plants and beautiful sculptures. The place is very popular, both with locals and tourists who just want to take a break in the stunning surroundings.
All in all, the Old Town is an amazing experience that you will never get tired of. The small, charming streets with shops and family restaurants are Spanish culture at its best.
If you want to buy a property type situated in this part of Marbella, the price will reflect that. It's easy to find a spacious apartment for sale here, but not a villa. That property type is not available in this part of the city. You are close to the beach in the old town.

Paseo Maritimo
Along the beach in Marbella, you will find the Paseo Maritimo. The Paseo in Marbella is one of the finest along the coast, if not the finest.
Along the paseo you will find some of the best restaurants and cafes in the town, and here you can really have a gastronomic experience out of the ordinary. The route stretches all the way from the port of Marbella to Puerto Banus, which is 7 km west of Marbella.
The marina in Marbella is also home to many nice restaurants and bars that will make sure you have an enjoyable evening.
This is usually the place for many partygoers, and here you can enjoy everything from a cup of coffee to a fancy drink.
