A bit about Torremolinos
Torremolinos is a cosy Spanish holiday resort located 13 km west of Malaga. It was once a fishing village and still has some of the best seafood restaurants on the coast.

Trains run every 20 minutes, so you won't have to wait long for whatever you choose.
Lots of life, seafront and beautiful beaches
If you buy a property for sale in Torremolinos, you will come to a town with beautiful unspoilt beaches and lots of life. Torremolinos is a very international city with around 70,000 inhabitants.
Approximately 75% of the inhabitants of Torremolinos are Spanish. Although the city is full of tourists, the cost of living is still very low compared to the UK.
The beach stretches for a full 6 km and the promenade goes all the way to the neighbouring town of Benalmadena to the west.

A vibrant city center
Calle San Miguel is the old pedestrian street in Torremolinos, and it teems with life - especially in summer. You'll also find many interesting shops and restaurants, and since Torremolinos is an old fishing village, you'll also find some of Spain's best fishing spots here.
Torremolinos also expanded its car-free center in 2020, so the cozy town center is now even bigger. On the new wide car-free boulevard you'll find cafés, restaurants and bars galore.
The area has both fountains and palm trees, giving you easy access to shade when the sun is at its best.
A property here is a good investment for a second home.
Fuengirola is another town on the Costa del Sol that has a large center with many shops and cafés.
